Already Ahead
Remember how when you were little your teachers would ask you what you wanted to be when you grew up? You probably said something like an astronaut, or a doctor, or a firefighter wanting to be something You admired so much. I used to not get why they asked so early. I do now; it seems the years in school have just flown by and as they do teachers ask more of what you are going to do with your life. High school will probably just slip by without me noticing. It amazes me how much early preparation we need for the world. When I was little I used to think that all you did in school was learn the basics and the career stuff was all in college, life would be easy etc. All my teachers now are preparing me for the rest of high school and showing all the career classes we need to take in high school if we want to succeed in what we want to do. Sometimes I can't believe how my view of the world has changed. It's funny, I'm almost fifteen and I already miss my childhood.
