While I was trying to get a picture of a bumble bee on some flowers out on the deck I heard the resident crows cawing their heads off. When I looked up, I saw what I expected, a Red-tailed hawk being dive-bombed by the crows. It first went behind a tree and I managed to get the picture below, but then it came gliding over the deck and I wasn't quick enough to focus the camera. But at least I got this one:
I also found a Bewick's wren in a nearby tree and got a cute one of him trying to figure out what the human is doing with the strange black box.
And after many failed attempts I managed this picture of a bumble bee scouring the flower for nectar.
