Off For Another Adventure

Over the weekend I went up into the mountains again. At least it was warm this time, but some of the snow still hasn't melted up there yet so my dad and I had to leave the car a half-mile or so back from our destination and walked with our stuff at about 11:30 at night. We managed to get it across the snow the next day. I got to walk around in the woods for a while with the lab mix mentioned in the last escapade up to the mountains from March and while crossing a bridge I tried a new technique to get a nice photo of the water:

On Saturday I went across a field to where a salt lick for the birds and deer was placed to get a few pictures of the birds. So, I lay down on my stomach under a tree just waiting for a LONG time, but instead of the birds deer started showing up (about four). I was amazed they didn't notice me since I was only behind one branch (but I guess since I was in shadow that may have attributed to my concealment). Usually the deer will share the salt lick and some others will walk around to graze but they got a little greedy this year.

During the night I went out and tried to get some photos of the stars as well, but only got a few since the clouds were in the way.
