Lizard Lizard Lizard

So almost a year ago, in this very month, I was in California visiting with my grandparents. Yes, I know, it's impossibly late, but the camera still isn't fixed so I thought I might as well post this since I've been looking for it for so long (and I did promise to post this photo once I found it). So anyway, there happened to be a train track set up in the garden and I was helping out with fixing some of the switches that prevented the trains from crashing into each other. My dad came over to me and said he thought he saw something run up to my foot. Of course I first thought,"spider," and I don't like spiders catching me off guard like that so when I felt something move under my foot I lifted it immediately and saw what looked like a leaf. It was instead a very small juvenile lizard. I picked it up and let it crawl on my hand (he almost fell asleep there too), but when my dad came to fiddle with the controls for the trains, the little thing got scared and ran under my grandfather's shoe and after he lifted his foot I got this picture of it. Personally, I think this little thing is adorable.
